Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Honestly I barely touched it. Booted it up and clean installed Windows 8.1, though haven’t touched it in months. I have a new iMac 27 inch as well which is my primary computer. I bought the Omen just to have a modern windows PC since my computer before the iMac was a ten year old Dell XPS that was about to die. Between getting the Omen for $300 and the Asus Predator 27 inch monitor for $125 (also at walmart on clearance from $500), I couldn’t pass up that kind of deal.
Why not just dual boot your iMac?

I can't find any information about that Fix It Felix mini arcade game... just a Wal-Mart page which claims it's out of stock. The pictures (what scant few are available) remind me of a Genesis homebrew based on the game in the movie. Is it running that game, or maybe something new designed for an NES on a chip?

I can't tell what system is being used tbh, and yeah there's no info online about it coming out

Is Walmart the exclusive seller of those mini arcade games? They’re pretty cool. I’ve picked up a few on clearance.

Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition X360/XB1 release is slashed at some stores, might be worth looking if you've ever wanted to pick it up, comes with the main dlc releases from NV https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=19613290
I was heading up to Wally World anyways this evening and I lucked out that it was the only store in the area that had this marked down to $5.

The only other $5 game is noticed as Doom 3 BFG for X360 https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/?sku=51933770

Couldn’t pass up the deal mainly. Plus I wanted a new gaming rig as I haven’t had a proper one in many years. The SSD and 1070 GPU sold me. Plus if I didn’t really end up using the rig I could swap the CPU and SSD to my iMac and upgrade it.

Found a lone copy of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Steelbook Brawler Edition for $19.93 https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=376130363

Granted the base game has been available for less now and again, but this is the lowest I've seen for the steelbook version. Now fingers crossed when I open it, it will be the Kefka one, if it's the Lighting one I'm considering this a loss. :lol:
NewEgg actually has this sometimes for $10 (yes, the steelbook). Look out for those deals.

Saw these today

Good luck to anyone who tries for that Omen. I went through hell and back to track one of those suckers down for $300 months ago.
Stores all around me have them, but all full price :( I'd be tempted for $200 for sure, built my current PC back in Jan of 2012 and while I updated a bit since then obviously it's a very old system at this point. Surprisingly though, overall it still mostly meets my gaming needs. Built it with the future in mind and it's lasted!

A local store had five SNES classics for $20 each when I went looking for a TV. They said they were being discontinued, but they restocked and have them back at regular price. This store clearances out electronics ridiculously low for some reason.

[quote name="Bezerker" post="14061825" timestamp="1538663130"]Anyone in the Skokie, IL area, Snes Classics are $30.  $40 in Northampton, MA and Waldorf, MD.

Thanks I was able to pick one up at the Skokie store

Dang that's a low price, what's your zip if you don't mind me asking?

Was able to get Shadow of the Colossus for exactly $20 and FF Zodiac Age for ps4 for $10.

They had Micromachines for PS4 for $10 too. Hidden Agenda for $5. FFIV A Realm Reborn for $10. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider was $10 too.

They had one more PSVR Headset with VR Worlds for $225.

Not really clearance but since Walmart is ymyv, I figured I’d post here instead of a new thread.

My local store had DualShock 4 controllers for $46. I picked up the new Berry color.

I don't think anyone here is going to be using those condoms, unless they're also finding clearance hookers.

Whoa!! Guys check your Fallout 76 Collectors preorders! Mine just dropped $90 for some reason!
That's interesting, did Walmart misprice at some point and it's automatically adjusting down I wonder?

edit: thinking back about it, I vaguely recall hearing that this was happening a long time ago, they marked it down to $116 for whatever weird reason, what system is your preorder on?

See before now it was at $199+tax which is what they were selling for everywhere else. So I have no idea why the sudden $90 drop

This happened back in June, is your order on XB1?

Not clearance but the new Dualshock 4 colors are coming in stock slowly for regular Dualshock 4 price of $46.96. Got my sunset orange, may pick up berry blue if still available later today.

Edit: in store only, check BS as only 5% of stores have it in stock, but all stores near me in socal have it in stock, so looks like they're being delivered to stores and scanned in last night / this morning.

Just got back from my local Walmart, they had some yellow cardboard bins out with some games in there. I mostly just saw some PS4 games like Persona 4 for $15, Shadow of the Colossus for $15, and Street Fighter V Arcade Edition for $9. I picked up the SFV since I don't think it's ever been that cheap.
