Anyone else with decisions to make by next Friday? I have the KH3 PS4 Pro, KH Deluxe, RE2 CE and RE Deluxe all pre-ordered (gotta get those steelbooks) and am having a difficult time figuring out what to keep!

I know I probably *should* be responsible and since I already have a Pro and a 1X cancel the system, and the RE2 CE probably isn't really worth it.... but when it comes down to actually hitting cancel on those types of orders I have a hell of a time doing it. Of course the prospect of dropping around $1000 next Friday is also a little daunting, coming this soon after Christmas and the Holidays!

 
From what I understand, the 2b is actually a Figurine only 6" tall and not a statue. But pretty cool looking one.

I have it (bought it off ebay for $50 before prices went batshit crazy). It's decent, but the figurine is probably the better choice if you have 500 pts. The one nice thing about the artbook is that the pages are extremely thick (kind of like baby books). But there just isn't much content.

FYI: Just noticed that there's a Nier Automata art/lore book coming out this spring. I got most of my points from preordering their exclusive CEs. They also tac on some bonus points for hitting certain milestones on purchases from their site.

I got most of my points from grabbing a few games and then last year I grabbed a few hundred dollars worth of play arts when they clearanced them down to $20-$60 each. Still can’t believe I got that $250 tetsuya Nomura Batman for so cheap

I just got my shipping notices for both my KH Pro and my KH bundle (from SE) yesterday. I had actually forgotten about the bundle I preordered from SE. I think I will try to reject the delivery, and just grab the deluxe version instead. I'm never around when stuff gets delivered tho, so I doubt that will happen.

Edit - I have RE2 preordered too. I hope BB adds the steelbook to my order. I don't have GCU anymore so I can't reorder it.

I just got an update email on the pre-order process for the pro, but it only laid out dates for the charge to go through and for the item to ship. I don't think the systems are shipping yet. 

 
I pre-ordered before the steelbook was added. They said on the forums that people who pre-ordered before would get one, but my order wasn't updated yet to add the steelbook. So not sure if I should cancel and order again.

To Best Buys credit, I have always seen the steelbook added 1-7 days before a games release in these situations. That said, if it's just a basic pre-order and you have nothing to lose by cancelling and re-ordering, I would do that 100/100 times.

I ordered with a gift card, I don't know how reliable them putting the funds back on the gift card is. It says it should be within 30 minutes, but if it doesn't work out, I don't wanna have to deal with a day of calling their customer service trying to explain.

You can also just take the package back to UPS and say you wish to return to sender.

I was able to do this with my FF XV CE a few years ago. I did have to email SE about the refund. They were supposed to process the refund upon arrival, but didn’t.

This is why I use GS preorders as layaway. Of the 10 preorders (8 of which are the above $60 versions) I have between now & end of April, 7 of them are paid off (Division 2 UE, MLB The Show 19 CE, & MK 11 Ultimate are the exceptions.)
 
God I hate the Square Enix webstore.  I can't login to my account with the correct password.  Find out from trying to login at the The Lodestone that my logins have been temporarily suspended and that they'd send me an e-mail to reset my password. Yet there is no e-mail.  On top of that they have their buggy ass webstore that loops all the time, forces re-logins, doesn't let you find relevant info, and many years has prevented you from viewing your orders. 

This is the third time this has happened to me in the last few years. I've had to change my account info several times.  Fix. your. shit. SE.  Piece of shit webstore, I've never seen anything else quite like it.

Yup, the whole thing is garbage. I had to change my password today when I took a look at the Nier stuff. That process took about 10 minutes. And then right afterwards I got an email stating that there was suspicious activity, the account was now locked, and I'll have to do it again. fuck.Right.Off.With.That.Bullshit

 
Yep.  I couldn't even login to order that Nier statue because of their incompetence, and needlessly over-coded website.  This shit has been going on for years.

I used facebook to login for some stupid reason years ago and can't sign up with my email normally.  It's the only thing that kept me from closing my fb account.  No login issues doing things that way though. /shrug

Nice! I ordered from amazon just now. It's easier to add a gift card balance and price drops are more common. Biomutant CE is down to $103 and I got the Sonic Mania CE for like $40 at launch. I am less dedicated to BB now that GCU is expired.

MY GCU lasts until November, so this is my last push for preordering shit. I imagine my game purchases will plummet after that. I'm actually debating switching to digital since the launch day prices will be the same at that point.

Premium mentions a "steelcase" on Amazon that doesn't bode well considering WB's track record for crappy cases outside Injustice 2's. Hoping it's a steelbook not what came with Shadow of War and Mortal Kombat X.

Check your email for the upgrade email for the Steelbook addition to your existing RE order. They went out recently.
