• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2026. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

I must think I have money or something. I failed at my resolution that I would have to finish RE7 before getting Village…and got Village using that $10 off promo at NewEgg. I blame Bloomy for getting me more interested with his contest. Damn Bloomy!

It is fantastic. Much better than the demos lead you to believe. I personally think this is more my kind of game than Biohazard (which no doubt is good). More action oriented like RE4. And if it keeps up, may end up being my second favorite behind 4.

So good and looks gorgeous on the Series X.

Finally, open to some suggestions for easy GamerScore games going forward. Many of the common ones are already done in my library. We need some new cheeseable games!

If you've never started Nier Automata, you can get all story related achievements (about 400g worth) in about 10 minutes with the newly-found cheat.

Apparently when Destiny came back up for the new season, they accidentally enabled crossplay early. People in the same clan on different platforms were able to join each other in orbit, but then got error messages. It's not supposed to be live for at least another season.

CenturyLink is out front running the fiber lines to my new house right now! Then the installer comes later today to hook up the house. I don’t move in for another week still but after having 40mbps I’m so excited to have 940mbps with unlimited data.

Just got CenturyLink a few months ago when we moved and also went from 40mbps to 940mbps and it has been life changing. Haven't seen a buffer or spinning circle while streaming and game downloads are much faster. Had some old ethernet cables that I had to upgrade to maximize the faster speeds though.

Nah, not trying for 10,000 for each account but for these seven games it is a quick 4,200 points for each account just playing around with the menu settings. Will spread them out to get the extra 50 points each day as well.

For my account although I will try for the 7,000 points with those games. Then see if any other easy ones to boost my account. Doubt I will get 10,000 as I have not done so with the two previous ones. Hard enough to get time to play games for myself as is.

Oh I agree with you as plenty of times after a hard day at work and do spend time with my wife and son, if I get some time to play after he goes to bed I just want to blow sh*t up or have some fun running around and gunning down people in COD or other online shooters. They just tend to kill me a lot more.

I had bought those seven games to play as I am also an old school gamer and love blasts from the past (some age better than others). It just happened to work out they have some quick achievements with these particular games.

Yeah, but that still doesn't add up. The old trilogy has around 4K gamerscore with all DLC. There are new combined achievements for stuff like 500 kills that carry over between games that I think threw off the obvious option of 1000 per game, but not sure what they were going for with the random amount.

seems odd to be a targeted thing yours might pop up in a day or 2

it's possible it could be targeted but i'd be surprised for something this big that is typically available to everyone but who knows stranger things have happened with microsoft rewards

I played through the single player campaign and it is about as boring a game experience as I've had. Not terrible just does nothing to stand out. I had zero interest in returning to play with other characters.

I second this … it’s a soulless big budget game with a weak core gameplay loop. You run into a room, kill everything, run down a hall, repeat. The designs feel like MCU knockoffs and the upgrades don’t do much to change your character’s look. It takes itself too seriously and focuses almost entirely on the Avengers through the eyes of Ms. Marvel.

I absolutely hated it and I bought it for $25 6 months ago. Just dreadfully boring and awful.

Tedious gameplay is one thing, it makes me more determined to get through it. Being bored to tears while playing a game is quite another. That I just can't deal with at all. The final tally is 3-1 against, I will pass on it.

I don't have the time or the drive to try and get 10,000 Gamerscore this time around. I'm too invested in Fallout 76, plus I expect the Overwatch Anniversary Event to start in the next week or two, so I just wont have the time.
