It's that time of year again, friends. 

The 2021 spreadsheet can be found here.

Will update this post as Black Friday ads start coming out. Post if you see any, and let me know if you'd like to be an editor! 

General note: If you see a game you want at a price you like, but it's the wrong platform, search that store's website for the platform you want. Often they'll mark a game down to the same price on all platforms, but only advertise one.

And, yeah, I'm seeing TWEWY at $15 now at Walmart, but not available at any stores in my state and delivery "may be restricted" to my zip code. What kind of nonsense is that? Can't add it to cart.

Showing $50 for me. I would buy it if that wowfresh code would work for a 2nd time:) I already used it on the 20th anniversary controller. Seems fun but I imagine it would lose its appeal quickly.

I had both purchased and ready but decided to cancel. I had this exact sentiment. I have a 6 year old but feel like the novelty would wear off quickly for $100.

I don't get it. I see the cheapest at $79.87 with lots more listings from 3rd party sellers for even more. Actually the $79.87 is a 3rd party seller too. I don't see that Walmart itself has it. When I limit the filter to "Walmart" as the only seller it just shows me Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Had to try at 3 Walmarts arpund me and finally a decent employee actually tried to help and got the price match for Nier at $15. Previos 2 attempts received nothing but dissaointment.

Keep trying.

i think it only shows up at $50 if it is available for store pickup near you.

I get $99.00 from your link (shipped by "Johnsons Enterprises") for Luigi. It must be as ritchardf says and it's because it isn't available near me for store pickup. That's pretty lame of Walmart because I wanted to get it shipped anyway. Why does it matter if local stores have it or not? Maybe it is only available via store pickup but just like TWEWY these are all wiped out around here. Not many Walmarts in the area. Though TWEWY at least shows me it is $14.99, I just can't add to cart or do store pickup anywhere around me. So inconsistent - more reasons for me to hate on Walmart...

Nice. Did u get warranty on it? I could’ve gotten the 65” if I didn’t get warranty. Kinda regretting it but I think it’s fine. Wish CX would get the game mode update for C1

Which update? The Cx just got the Dolby vision 120 update in October

This BF was cursed. Best deals on video games were earlier in the week before Thanksgiving. I honestly think the 1st party Nintendo 25 dollar games were a glitch and then the other stores were forced to match them.

Not a game, but I bought a Razer Wolverine V2 controller from Amazon for $69.99 on BF and it's $59.99 today. Great controller, I might rebuy and return the original purchase to save the 10 bucks.
 
Finally bought something this year when Walmart had Spiderman Deluxe for the PS5 available for shipping last night.  

Still hoping to see GoTG come back available for the PS5 again, but if it has hit $25 already, it should find it's way to that price again.

No, everything seems the same or no longer on sale. Dropping prices further on Cyber Monday is a dumb idea as it just gives companies more of a headache for price adjustments or new orders + returns. Putting stuff on sale that wasn't during BF would make more sense.

 
Has anyone seen: King's Bounty PS4, Astria Ascending PS4, Voice of the Cards, or Disciples: Liberation PS4 on sale at all? I haven't seen the only games I wanted to buy on sale anywhere. The only AAA game I would buy is Tales of Arise BELOW $30. I guess I'll wait until January or so, I'm in no hurry for them. The next games I'll probably pay full price for is Pokemon Arceus and Final Fantasy Origin.

Anyone looking for sold out stuff at Walmart.com should physically check their Walmarts near by.

Last night I caught the 20th controller back in stock at a near by Walmart. I quickly placed a pickup order as they only had 3 that came back in stock.

Flash forward to today, while I was picking it up I walked though the Video game section and found 2 Forza controllers in stock even thou Walmart.com was showing that this store had 0 stock. I grabbed 1 and left the other. Then I spotted 1 Hotwheels Unleashed with the Car for the switch even thou that also was showing as 0 stock at the store. I left it as I have 1 coming in the mail Wednesday. Talking to the clerk in the electronics section, he said the Forza controllers just came in and wasn't reflected in the app yet. The Forza controller rang up at $49.00 thou he was ready to price match at $49.00 if it hadn't.

So point being some stock is still floating around out there, but just isn't showing up in the app. You physically need to check the store.

I should note that while I generally agree sales this year didn't feel a spectacular as years past I did spend more than I thought I would. Here was my haul...

I know GotG and Spider-Man weren't the slickest deals, but I bought them at Best Buy just before Walmart's sales started because the PS5 came way quicker that originally expected (3 days instead of 2 weeks), and I wanted some nice new shiny games to play on it. I also had a $10 certificate I needed to use at BBY soon.

Overall I ended up getting more than I thought I would and am pretty happy about what I got and the prices I paid.

The only ones I missed that I wish I hadn't was Nier at Walmart for $15 and Ghosts Director's cut that sold briefly for $30 before they fixed it (which I'm not even sure anyone got it for that price. Heard of a lot of orders just getting cancelled).

Well Walmart came though for the guardians of the galaxy steel book, I got my Ps5 copy today and had it. Was shocked after hearing the reports of people not getting it and the fact the shipping weight was .5lb.  A tiny scratch and small dent due to a bubble mailer but I can deal with that for what I payed.

Yes. The 2TB is $142. Can the PS5 or Series X even take advantage of double the speed? I've seen vids on YouTube and most recommend the X6 for gaming for the price. I mean, if the X6 loads a game in 12 seconds, how much faster will the SanDisk load that same game? I can't find vids comparing all the external ssds load and transfer times.

Don’t know about using these for gaming. I got a SanDisk 2TB to make backup images of my gaming laptop. In my case, I use all the speed I can get. Read/write of SanDisk was like 950/850 according to CrystalDiskMark.

Update on the bold: Due to having reasons and luck, I had $15 in Amazon credit when I had originally typed that. I was going to use it for something else, but I ended up buying it at BB instead today. I just decided to get NEO. $10 of that credit expires in a few weeks and I don't think NEO will get any lower this year (unless its by Walmart) or Amazon will PM Walmarts price. Plus, it might not be in stock next Black Friday unlike NieR Replicant. Am I happy now? I could have been had Amazon PM the 14.99 price so I can use the credit to get it for free. lol It is what it is. One way or another, I got NEO at $15. lol

 
Ended up placing another b2g1 order at GameStop past midnight. Got sekiro goty ps4, Batman return to Arkham and dragons dogma ps4. Sekiro will be a gift since there’s no pre owned riders republic ps4 or even pickup availability for a new one
 
After refreshing my cart for days, I finally got a Cruis’n Blast for store pickup at GameStop. That should be my last purchase of the deals. I was issued another $10 Best Buy cert this morning, but most of the sale prices are gone unfortunately.
