I don't really see much contradictory in the reviews. The score discrepency seems to come from how the reviewers felt about the control and combat (some found it awkward/repetitive, some didn't) and whether they minded the blatant sequel set-up. Edit: Ok - yeah - the IGN and Gamespot reviews...
