Does using an octagonal gate increase the deadzone on the stick? I feel like I have to move it more now to get the moves to come out. The movements are easier to do, but I feel I have to be more deliberate with them than I was on the square gate. Seems weird. I think I will do the JLF Ultimate...
I doubt there would be function problems with your TE when ya get it since the case and pcb setup is great and the stick/buttons are all Sanwa. Any functional problems would be a fluke occurrence imo. At the most ya might have some cosmetic stuff like some minor scratch marks. The SE is the one...
*cry* BB.com e-mail:

The new release date is 03/01/2009. Your order details are listed below"
Damnit!
So after going through many hurdles and setbacks I finally got my HRAP2 SA in yesterday ... and I don't like it much ;___;. I need to get an octagonal gate and test more then, but me and everyone I played w/ last night was having problems pulling off all kinds of moves reliably w/ it from...
Anyone know a reliable place to get a HRAP2 still? I had won an auction on eBay for a HRAP2 SA but the seller never sent the item and in the end I lined up w/ a refund and the other place I was going to get it sold out by the time I got my money back >_
I looked into both of those before. I don't want the SF Anniversary stick because I don't like the straight across American style for the buttons; I prefer the curved style. And the Tekken stick isn't easily moddable so it's low on my list as well.
Same exact thing happened to me (probably with the same person too I bet). I won a Hori Real Arcade Pro 2 SA from GamezForLess for about $78 but never received it. Sent a bunch of emails and nothing. Finally got someone on the phone and they had no answer and said all they could do was refund...
I looked into it for a while and it looks like you can't get the Gateway warranty from store bought systems. If you want a warranty you need to get the Best Buy one. I am going to get the 2 yr accidental damage warranty.
You are correct. The ISP sign up is what people are talking about when they mention the HSI deal or the coupon (printing out someone else's HSI barcode that was scanned to give them the $100 off). $600 - 150 - 100 for a total of $350+tax.
And I would also like to know if anyone else got plans...
I went and bought a second one that I was able to get with the HSI signup for $373 + $10 Canon printer. Then I got my $590 purchase from the day before PM'd for the $449 price and got $80 back. Great day ^___^
Now I just need to cancel the comcast thing. Who here has done it? Do they just call...
Laptop is now selling for $449 (before using the $100 HSI). Deal keeps getting better and better. I'm off to BB to price match it with my friend's receipt as he just bought it for that price.
Does anyone know exactly WHAT they do for the Geek Squad Optimization? I honestly have no clue and think it is just a rip off way to charge an extra $30 (but I haven't tinkered with the comp enough yet as I had an exam last night right after getting it so I haven't even transfered my files to it...
Well I got that laptop today. Love it so far. Had to pay $30 extra for BS "Geek Squad Optimization" but it still came out to $592 after tax so overall still a great price for the setup. Shame I couldn't use the $100 HSI deal too, it wasn't offered for my address. Maybe I will try printing that...
Anyone in Orlando, FL had any success with this? I really need a new laptop and this sounds great. I'm going to call around some Best Buys tomorrow to see.
