I wonder if USB, non-SSD drives will still be an option.  You still get at least 5x the storage space per dollar.  Keep frequently played games on the main drive, infrequent ones on the external one.

Wombat, why not visit your local municipally run animal shelter and adopt there?   Process would take maybe an hour. More reasonable that dealing with private rescue nutballs or shipping dogs across the damn planet.

Re the Olympics, coverage has been excellent.  I'm a tennis player and have watched a lot of that, also some basketball, soccer, and handball.  Am also a cyclist but still cannot watch any kind of racing, pretty boring.  I'm able to watch any sport via the Android app, anything via the desktop...

Re external drives for consoles, $70 is a good price for a 2TB portable at the moment.  I got a 4TB on sale recently for $105, better per-TB price.  Plus I thought that even 2TB might not quite be enough to last till the end of this console generation.

Anyone else having technical problems with this version of Crackdown?  Right after the loading screen with the agents the screen goes white and nothing ever happens.  Have tried deleting the game and redownloading but the same thing happens.

Good chance the consoles won't sell out for any real length of time...the components are more industry standard and yields will be up...they're just easier to make this time around.
