I sold my launch-purchased Wii in January for what I paid for it, and was glad that I did. I went back to my GC and couldn't be happier about it, although I'm sure that something will come out for the Wii that necessitates buying a new one in the future.
There are some good folks there, but to be honest - the hoarders really outnumber them. Take a look at eBay some time, within a day of a good game deal going up... several sellers buy up tons and tons of games (or systems) and resale like crazy.
There are several RFDers that lurk on the Canada board and post to RFD. But you're right - there is a lag usually (of 1-2 days). I'd love it if this board were locked.
There's an excellent Canadian trading community at the CGCC forums (in the 'Swap Shop' section). They cater to a pretty wide range of tastes, and there are always active trades going on there.
Man, I wish I lived in vancouver. I'd be all over your store. Edmonton has *shit* for used game stores - the only oldware stores like Nexwave are even more expensive than eBay, so I can't afford to shop there often.
Feedback wise - the $1 / day buyback thing is a great idea. I'd definitely take...
Yes, these exist in BC. They're called "Real Canadian Superstore", and there are copies of Taiko Drum Master available in their photo department (not all locations). I just got one for myself in Edmonton AB.
