I was able to get the 40% bump of the Pokémon collectibles by getting a booster pack there. Manager had to do an manual override after I showed him the promo on their site. Seems like it didn't work, he kept saying it wasn't on his promo tab or something like that.
Went to my local Gamestop yesterday at Tinley Park, IL and they were talking about the stores in the surrounding area not taking credit for Amazon, iTunes, etc. Ebay was fine and I was able to cash out my balance.
I picked it up and just something with the character parts just seems off to me. Just looks a little distorted as compared to the vita version. Load times are practically nonexistent and the auto generation of crowds is pretty quick too. That was one thing that bothered me about the vita...
Yup it plays physical vita cards. Certain ones may not work if they're not supported though. Sony has a compatibility list on those on their site. https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5376/~/games-compatible-with-playstation-tv
It was limited last I checked but only at Target. I know all the Targets in my area (Chicago area) have multiple copies with the steelbook on sale from time to time.
I'm picking it up here when it comes out. I can give a couple hour impression if anyone else is interested on the ins and outs of the game. I should have some time given the class I'm teaching this year, is actually pretty bearable and not enough for me to want to kill em.. yet..
