same here. I checked 2 or 3 locations when a similar deal came up a few weeks ago and no luck.

not sure what prices are like in your area but a Wavebird for $5 would be something akin to winning a small lottery here.

yeah, I'm with you there. $20 for a last-gen controller, wireless or not, just seems crazy to me. of course, Vintage Stock sells them for $35 and that seems to be the going price on eBay so who knows. I do believe I'll scour the local thrift stores around here prior to settling on one though.
