Here's my honest opinion as an owner of both systems. If you're not attached to any of the exclusive games on either side, I say go with the PS3. You get more bang for your buck nowadays with the free wifi and blu-ray. Plus the PS3 is still much more dependable. True the newer Jasper chipset...

I've seen them at my local Sears (Salt Lake City) for around 70 bucks. They've been reported at other Sears for the same, but this varies. Dunno if you use ebay, but several people sell them for around the same price on there too. Good luck!
