Good to know. I can't recall the EULA/TOS for this beta, but it probably does not have a clause for selling the invitation. As such, I'll edit the OP. I looked around for some rules relating to this type of commerce here, and did not find this.

Based on my initial research, $50 appears to be the average asking price, but if you contemplate...can you put a definitive price tag on something like this? $50 firm or trade for Skyrim, for anyone who's interested.

True, but as I understand, beta selection for participation is quite sparse. Edit: This invite unlocks the beta via Steam, and is available for immediately download/play.
