I'm really excited for this game! I enjoyed the Genesis game immensely back when it came out. Played the SNES game more recently which was also pretty cool. This game will have plot tie-ins with both 16-bit games, but I'm happy that this one is going to be turn-based.

That is correct. If you want to play the game on a Vita you must buy the PSN version. Currently the only way to play it on Vita is to download onto a PS3 and then transfer to the Vita. It should be up on the Vita store soon, though.

I think anyone who likes RPGs will love this game. It takes all of the best elements from traditional RPGs, tactical RPGs, and real-time strategy games and this makes for a really fun game.

The decision really comes down to what kind of RPG you like best. Unchained Blades is a dungeon crawler and Gungnir is a tactics game. I was never really a fan of first-person dungeon crawlers so I probably won't be getting UB any time soon. I do have Gungnir, but I'm finding it a bit hard...
