It's a YMMV on the price-adjusting. My TRU is only 7 days. It's 45 days for unopened returns. If they don't do the price-adjustment. Just buy it at the $45 price and return it with the older $75 price receipt.

This happened to me. I didn't even realize it until I tried using it at GameStop. The sales guy called corporate to try and get the number, but they informed him that the card expired last year. I told that has to be a mistake since I just received the card a month ago... But there wasn't...
