GTA4 Special Edition $69.99 at Best Buy Online & B&M

That sucks, and after all the trouble I went through to get them to price-match the Fry's ad when they had it for $74.99 ...

But since I'm cheap, I'll going back for the extra $5...

I don't like the security devise they usually have on it because it damages the box. I'll check my local BestBuy after work and see if they have one inside a case without the device on.

Might want to post a link to the PS3 version as well so someone can easily get the SKU number.

Also note you cannot check local area stock. So unfortunately the only way to do this is to call either a specific BB near you, give them the Sku and see if it's in stock. or call the general BB number and see if they can do an area search for you. I would call the store first as the general BB cannot promise in-stock availability.

^negative you can easily check the local stock on GTA Special Edition, here is how....

1. Go to the GTA4 Special Edition item page and get the SKU# which is 8708776

2. Look for ANY item that is currently in stock at Bestbuy.com, and do a local stock check on that item, then click BACK on your browser AFTER you got the result page

3. Now look in the ADDRESS bar, look for SKU, replace that item SKU with this one 8708776, and it will give you the results for the GTA Special Edition even though it's sold out online

Your welcome, this works on ALL items that are out of stock or have no in-store locater :)

people have found a way to use the instore locator for things that are "sold out." it's not always 100% accurate though from what i hear...

Thanks OP! I've been waiting for this to drop in price.
I wonder if this will turn into a Halo 3: LE...
I bet it will. My local Best Buy and Gamestop still have a ton of these lying around, and that's usually a sign they'll be mad cheap soon.

Thanks I might pick this up or I'll wait to get GTA4 by itself cheaper. This is a permenent price right? I'm also worried about it getting really cheap too so I don't know if I should wait longer.

Too bad I missed the %10 off coupon but I could add that 3 DS game cases (thanks for that suggestion) for the $10 off. I am very surprised some people were able to use both coupons, I thought they usually said not valid with any other coupon or offer.

Gamestop already reduced those bundles to $79.99 in-store. I saw the price stickers when I went to go pick up my MGS4 pre-order this morning.

The only thing both of my gamestops have had for the gta 4 se, are a few 360 versions a piece. The ps3 versions were gone within a few days, and i haven't seen them back in stock since. Definately worth the price, alot of stuff for the extra dough.
The License plate was Amazon exclusive, right?
yep. But some game stores were sent a plate for promotional as well.
