Yeah I never managed to get any codes either. I just assumed being a digital VIP reward it would be available to all VIP members for the sale window and not a limited quantity item. So bogus.

Same here. The original msrp was $300 but when Lego increased it to $350 it fell off my radar. At $263 it was just too good to pass up….especially with all the mini figs it comes with.

Thanks! All I wanted from this set was the Mario figure but it always sold for $30-$35 just by itself. I definitely jumped at this for $28 for the entire starter set. Great deal and thanks again for posting.

Well the only other Lego set I want to get this year, before it retires, is the 89 Batwing and am wondering if it will go up or not given it's due to retire soon.   I've already spent a lot this month on toys so I'm kinda tapped at the moment but at the same time don't want to see the price go...
