Everything worked except they couldn't add onto my existing Pro membership because it wasn't close enough to expiration. Oh well. I don't expect there to be much utility for a GS Pro membership next year anyway.

I saw some people stack the $10 off Pro when buying a new game with the $20 Pro pricing (and possibly the $5 Pro coupon) elsewhere. Maybe I'll try that tomorrow if Super Mario RPG is still in stock.

There’s a demo for Sports Scramble. I found the motion controls to be really finicky and unreliable, so I’m not a fan.

The GameStop associate I spoke with today said they’re having an in-store restock on December 17, but warned that I’d have to line up before the store opening to have a chance. I’ll wait until next year or 2023 if necessary, but I’m not camping out at a store to get a console.

Yes. Traded in GotG for $34 with the 50% bonus today (Thursday). GS is still selling it used for $25 as well, so it’s a reasonable flip even if you don’t want to play it (it’s a decent game, kind of like Mass Effect meets Uncharted, but the combat is pretty tedious and the whole game could stand...

My understanding is that GameStop stopped gutting copies earlier this year with the last reorganization. Of course, there are still plenty of “new” games that were gutted prior to that change and are still in stock at various locations.

Walkabout Mini Golf is good. It’s the standout full VR game out of what I’ve played so far.
