Home life is good. Its a LOT more work than i thought it would be. Plus as i said i swiched jobs too. Im working in NYC now, so that leaves me little time to actually work on the house......but overall things are going quite well.
Wow......its been a reallly really long time. I dont know where to even start looking on the site. Its been about three months since i've posted on this site. Since my last post (which is when i was going on vacation), i finally bought my house and swiched jobs, which has kept my life...
Yes quite the $$$$$ area.... I live in Levittown, which i would consider your average neighborhood and i paid $344K. Everything else basically goes up from there.
Yeah....closing costs are about $10k...so i only have to shell out $4400 now. Its really a big help because even though i had the money to cover closing, now i can put it toward repairs/inprovements.
Yes...its a strange feeling how i look foward to buying my own wet-vac and power tools. I never had the need or urge to even look at anything like that before, but now i think home depot will be my new Best buy
Im going through SONYMA which is a state of NY program for first time home owners.... I got a locked in 4.5% intrest rate, and they also gave me $6,600 toward closing costs. I was very happy with that, and i shouldnt have to worry about refinancing ever.
