Any ideas where to find vertical stands for the PS3 fat cheap (under $10 each shipped or b&m)?
There are lots of options for the slim out there but unfortunately that does me no good. I want to house 4 to 8 original fat ps3's for some Cell programming work I'm doing. The cheapest I've found...
I'm holding out for a re-release of MP3 Corruption with the GC controls ;)
Adapting 1 and 2 to the motion controller seems like a great way to ruin two of my favorite games ever.
I loved 1 and 2 on the GC but really disliked what little I played of 3 on the Wii.
The most noticable to me is FEAR1 flashlight on/off is FEAR2's use medkit. Annoying. I think aim, crouch, slow-mo and throw grenade all got moved around too. If you haven't played in a while you likely won't notice or will like the new layout better.
But it would have been easy enough for...
I finished up FEAR Files before playing FEAR 2 and I find it annoying that the controls are substantially different between FEAR / Extraction Point / Perseus Mandate and FEAR 2.
I enjoyed the demo for this a lot - even the Dark Athena part that was criticized in many reviews.
However, I'll hold out for a price drop on this as much as I am looking forward to playing it.
I estimate 50% to 75% of the used accessories I have purchased at EB/GS have been broken. They are good about giving refunds within 7 days but it is a hassle to go back. I now get my used stuff elsewhere.
I recommend the PC version over the console if for no other reason than the many bugs present in both versions.
I have 200+ hours invested in the X360 version only to find out that I'm locked out of major quests b/c I picked some lock or saw some NPC earlier in the game. Stupid stuff that...
It's $19.99 at EB/GS B&M and $19.82 at Walmart. Odd b/c non-GOTY is the same price.
It isn't uncommon to find it at this pricepoint although many vendors sell it for a lot more.
Great game and a great deal for $20. An absolute black hole for time however.
Thanks for the heads up OP. I picked up Zelda TP (GC) and Zelda Windwalker (GC) for $14.99 total out the door. I'm not sure if this was correct pricing or the TP was stickered incorrectly (common at BB), but either way I'm happy with deal.
I don't think this compares favorably to the $499 80 GB MGS4 bundle, unless you really want all the BR's and really don't care about PS2 BC, DS3, and MGS4.
Funny that the SD'ers are going ga-ga over this. They must not check prices at EB/GS very often.
The games and prices are quite good. Deus Ex and Chronicles or Riddick are two of my all time favorites.
