If you can transfer game saves to a USB Flash Drive, then can we assume there are web sites that offer game save down loads?

I have a PS3 40GB (no memory card reader/writers) and I want to buy the new 80gb PS3(non metal gear version), but I dont want to lose my game saves on the 40GB PS3. Is there a way I can transfer the game saves onto the new PS3?
