I was perusing the electronics section at the Meijer in Oswego, IL (if you didn't just say 'WHERE?' to that, I'd be scared), and among the random clearanced electronics they had a handful of these bad boys. I'm not sure if Meijer's clearance is chain-wide, but I'm assuming not, so your luck may vary on this.

I never see these on sale, and it's one of the best deals I've seen on a new official VGA cable. If you're a stickler like me, you just have to get the first party stuff.

There's one of those at the Circuit City that I work at in the open item "bin" that we have. Stuff in there gets massive markdowns. Wii Remote and nunchuck was in there for about $10 each.

Anyways, how is the picture when using one of these? I would imagine great for sports or platformer type games, but anything 2D would look worse than it did on a normal TV. At least that's how it was with the old Dreamcast VGA thing.

Right, but I haven't personally seen 1st party ones on Ebay. There are a bunch from Hong Kong that look like they are using the correct picture, but let's face it.....it's not going to be the right thing.
I have a first party 1 for $15 shipped if anyone wants it. It is used..but in great shape
how do we know yours is the first party m$ oem product?

look at my feedback on gametz under same name...I normally don't trade here due to the ease of setting up trades. If I say I have a first party vga adapter for $15 that is what I have.
