Only way I can think of is try to find out how the factory sealed it's games. Or perhaps ask someone on ebay with a sealed one to send you pictures of the back to see if they were indeed printed upside-down.

In my opinion the series is great and as many people should own them. However, I think all interests could be served by reprinting the games under a more conspicuous packaging that doesn't decrease the value of people who bought the first print. And value most certainly does come into play...

I found a complete copy of Road Rash II for Genesis at gameplay for 2-3 bucks hehe. I loved the series as a kid
