First things first, where did you buy that? Asking for my kids of course.
As for those complaining about it, I suspect they think Nintendo working on this detracts from things we all are waiting on, virtual console, ui updates, and first party games. I would imagine this was a whole different...
Not specifically for eshop but Office Depot/max apparently is giving a $20 discount on gamestop gift cards which can then be used to pick up an eshop card.
This is also a good way to get eshop/psn/Xbox credit as well. I may swing by one on the way home to get a card to convert to eshop credit since no one seems to want to put that on sale.
I believe they were mistaken about today being the launch day. BB corporate site had a posting stating Saturday was the day. I would take corporate over a random store any day. Regardless if you really want one it wouldn’t hurt to drive in and check...
Well just got home from lunch with the in laws to celebrate my daughters second birthday. We left a bit early to swing by gamestop because my wife wanted to try and get me one for Christmas and they had one of those cages locked up with a handful of these and switches. So excited.
Saw 2 in the same day and didn’t get either. Strongly hinted to my wife that I wanted it and holding out hope she got to the store to get it, but not enough to hold my breath on.
Well switch wasn’t out yet so there is that. I don’t remember any specifics but I feel like they had an ok sale last year on the eshop. I wouldn’t expect to be blown away, but I bet we will see a few good deals.
i think because it has been wanted for so long, and considering it was a flagship launch title and has taken this long why would they randomly release it now. At the same time I see no reason to doubt this as that lineup seems pretty consistent with what we have been getting value wise.
