I think the paypal policy is you can file a claim up to 90 days after a transaction is made. Unfortunately they side with the purchaser the majority of the time. There are shitty people that will buy a product, return a knock off or claim it was a rock in a box and get the item and their money back.

My friend sold a camera on eBay a few months ago and the buyer said it was broken. He returned it and got a refund. My friend took it to a camera store and they told him it looked like someone took it apart; so the buyer replaced the good part with his broken part and got a refund. My friend was still able to sell it but not for as much as it was worth.

There are a lot of shady people and making sure you check feedback on CaG and elsewhere is usually the best way to avoid them.

I'd say hacking nudes a person took at home for their partner and talking shit on an entertainment bus full of cameras and audio equipment is a bit different. It was essentially a hot mic which happens all the time. I don't think the two intrusions of privacy can really be compared at all.

very fucking hard. She has one where you have to do 1000 damage with her gravity tether shot, but the damage has to be done while they're being pulled and in the air, so you have around maybe 2 seconds to get it done. It's ridiculous. The odds of it happening legitimately are laughably small.

The tank controls were really bad in the originals, 4 seemed like a big step up in comparison. I don't think they were technically tank controls though in 4

RE4 was an improvement on tank controls. The first 3 or 4 RE games (at least the original runs) had fixed perspectives and angles (not over the shoulder) where pushing up moved the character in the direction they were facing regardless of the camera. Necessary in past before the advent of analog, but I'm glad we're mostly past it now.

My Best Buy steelbook for Mass Effect arrived mangled. Guess I'll see if they'll send me another one.

Wanted to mention that Stardust Galaxy Warriors is worth picking up for $5. Pretty fun shmup with RPG elements and four-player local co-op. I'm enjoying it just solo.

Yeah after all the GCs I got the Deluxe from Amazon for $10 and I spent another $10 on the SB from BBY lol. The game is very good. It's a very good RPG. The comparison it would be I think is a lot of ME1 and Dragon Age: Inquisition, which is understandable as the DA/ME play back and forth in progressions as they go from each franchise to the other over time. You "roam" around with the ship, the Tempest, and your vehicle, the Nomad. The squad mates and crew are cool, in fact I haven't found anyone "bland" and I have seen a few odd expressions from time to time but it didn't kill the overall vibe of the game. There's also Strike Teams/Multiplayer, as previously you can play like ME3's multiplayer - yet even better now that you have jump jets and they give you unlockable characters with set skills to master - , added here is the ability to send Strike Teams off on missions - all of which can be managed with the APEX HQ app or by visiting terminals on your ship and the Nexus. Returned successful teams will bring you back a myriad of goodies, mostly XP, Credits & Materials for researching stuff. You start off with one, I'm up to three now. I'm a very big individual for exploring, love doing side missions and discovering a myriad of activities or stories along the way. The first game started you off as a dude in the alliance military and you got thrust into an excursion with heavy resistance. If you get that you're a civilian this time, you'll understand the pacing the game has (one of the major gripes I've seen people give the game). The research, the discovery of everything in a new galaxy, the intense combat (I'm playing on Hardcore), the story of you and your crew (loyalty missions are back) all keep things fresh. The facial animations thing got blown out of proportion. Yeah esp considering you got it for $12 I'd say it's worth that.

 
I'm really enjoying Mass Effect Andromeda as well. Didn't look at any reviews or previews going in, which I find always helps me. About 18 hours played.
My only gripe so far is that it seems my squads I can send on strike missions only have good odds >50 on two or three missions a day. Granted they are only level 4 and 5. Should I send them on other missions even if it seems likely they will fail?

No, just wait for more Bronze missions to load. You can get little XP for failing but you also get negative traits that'll stick with that team for however long they're with you. I've got up to three now, with two past level 10, my third just started and is like 3 I think (and I only use them for Bronze while the others can tackle Silver missions now). The game does say if they get too many negative traits you can decide to go with another team. In other words,

Meh the slowdown issues on the last few of these ports have been so bad they are almost unplayable, Nam 1975 and King of Fighters 94. Not even when you pop an achievement since that always brings things to a crawl, this is still happening after things have been unlocked. These ports are lazy as hell.

 
I'm really digging Mass effect as well... The planets are so massive. I've spent a few days just completing all the quests I can find on voeld
 
I just customized my female Ryder on the Tempest for the first time and turned the jacket and gloves casual outfit into an all black biker-looking outfit. NOW WE'RE TALKING.

I posted on the Xbox Rewards forums about not getting the star for spending $100 and they responded with I needed to spend $148 or something as I was in Australia, then they locked the post.

I then went through my email and found the email about the promotion and it said $115, still under lol.

Weird thing is though, I spent $100 in February and my star progress is still at 15%, has been for a long time. Surely it should have gone up.

Also, was looking on the rewards site and I see this up the top of the page:

I played it about one and a half times through on my Android tablet. I really enjoy survival stuff, and this game is pretty fun in that regard. A lot of it is about making decisions on where to go to loot for supplies, if you should kill someone to get the goodies or not, then what happens if you do or don't kill. You upgrade/cook/make tools in your house during the day, then you choose a location at night to go loot. It can be tough, especially depending upon which 3 survivors you start with. I tried and failed a few times, then beat it and felt accomplished. I haven't really felt the urge to play it through again though. Fun game on the tablet or phone. I'd go for tablet though, the gameplay UI is much better suited to a 7" or larger screen.

Ryse has been the most wished for X1 game for a long while, especially after Sunset Overdrive was released last year as GwG. It's almost a running joke now, which makes me question its validity.

i think because it has been wanted for so long, and considering it was a flagship launch title and has taken this long why would they randomly release it now. At the same time I see no reason to doubt this as that lineup seems pretty consistent with what we have been getting value wise.

Not sure what to say about Gamefly other than no way I would pay full price. Got in on the $1/month restart deal. Selection is hard to come by, as always. Everything you would want is unavailable. Fast Return is anything but. I live 45 miles from the Tampa dist center. On Monday morning, I mailed back a game and also a first class package to California. The first class package arrived 3000+ miles away in California in 48 hours ... 72 hours later and still no sign of the Gamefly return 45 miles away. And this has been more often my experience with Gamefly than not. Granted, it could be as much a reflection of USPS as it is Gamefly. Seems like they just take forever to process returns - b/c I generally have no problem with USPS being timely.

I have or at least have played all of these titles with the exception of AC Revelations. Hope we get one or two different games but it is what it is.
