The Series X I ordered from MS last night shipped this morning and is arriving on Friday.

Got one from Microsoft as well - kept flickering in and out of stock and I got lucky.

I checked at 6:30am Pacific and the only store within 100 miles of me said “purchase in store”, which runs exactly counter to what the ad says. Lame.

I'm in Orange County and my options are Spectrum (200 mbps for $50, no data cap) or AT&T (1000 mbps for $60, 1TB data cap). Obviously I can pay more for faster speeds on Spectrum, but it's not immensely better. Only Irvine around here gets Google Fiber. :(

I've got a 2018 Samsung Frame TV, specs say it's only HDMI 2.0 (but will do HDR + 4K). Am I going to be sad if I upgrade to a Series X?

Yep - as long as the credit value base is $5 or more, it'll get the extra $5. I've got a bunch of older games that are worth $3 or $4 credit. :(
