my launch 60gb gets a bit loud from time to time. I figure better to have the fan kick in than for the system to overheat.

I cant get the 4 screws on the hd bay out. Screws are bit stripped, might have to use a plier to get it off. I called sony and they're sending me a replacement hd bay with 4 screws, maybe i'll just wait until that comes and replace the entire thing including the case.

I'm in NYC and I get charged tax on PSN purchases. Havent tried buying PSN card though.

I noticed x264 codec works through tversity but not through windows media. Try using tversity to stream to your ps3.

When is the SFIV stick coming out? Does it come with the SFIV game?

so will 7200 rpm cause more heat? Does 3.0gb/s vs 1.5gb/s have any effect on the heat? I would like to get a 720 rpm with 3.0gb/s hard drive but not if it'll make the ps3 run hotter than it is now.

You probably should've ordered a HDMI cable along with your bundle, you're not gonna get the full effect playing mgs4 through composite cable on HD tv. You can get a cheap HDMI cable from monoprice.

that sucks as my 360 is hardwired so it streams better than my wireless ps3.

would this work for the 360 as well?
