I got it earlier off Newegg for $20 and it's totally worth it, I dunno why people are saying it's hard to figure out the battle system because it's really not that hard. And like most rpgs, if you're lazy like me you can totally just grind some xp/upgrade weapons to the point where you can...
Rocket Slime is awesome, and yes to Crisis Core, one of the best PSP games out there. It's structured perfectly for a portable game, real easy to pick up and put back down. And it plays/looks like a improved version of FF7, the materia system is really neat and yeah the graphics are pretty good.
totally worth it at $30. It's really not as hard as some people make it out to be. It's time intensive yes, with learning how to navigate through each level and how different monsters behave, but it's not overly technically challenging, if that makes any sense. I'm not at all a hard core gamer...
gave mine away also.
And yeah not sure how they decided who got one. I'm guessing it's because I'm signed up to get news updates or whatever relating to PSN. I definitely didn't sign up for anything specifically related to the game.
from what I've read the main problem with Quest for Booty is that it's kind of short. Half off= the price is right to me, so I'm getting it this time around. Also supposedly if you have save data from it you get a pirate costume in a Crack in Time, which I want :o
I haven't seen anything on codes expiring... I don't see why they would though, once you buy a copy of the game it's yours, can download and re-download to your heart's content. I stockpile psn cards and sometimes won't get around to using them until a month or two later and haven't had problems.
