I felt the same way. I only played it for 10-15 minutes last night. I'll give it more time tonight and give it a fair chance. I'm not sure I wanted another Revenge (on-line play kicked arse!), but it does seem a little NFS-ish.

I haven't heard much of anything about the wireless stuff, but, I've found cnet.com reviews to be pretty spot on. Most of the buyers reviews are semi-coherent also

I recently bought the Harmony 550 for my parental units and it has made their life so much easier. I programmed it for them from my computer, set up all of the macros etc. I really dig them. Nice to have if you have more than 2 remotes. This one has the disco screen and rechargable batteries...

I've got the Onkyo 605 ( for the hdmi 1.3, and hdmi switching). I'm very happy with it. I was surprised the TRUE-HD and DTS-HD quality (lossless audio) was quite better than the regular. The onscreen set-up menu makes setup easy, along with the automatic room calibration works most bitchin...

I just bought this from Amazon (used, of course, CADVD'er you know) recently, watched it, really don't need to keep it. It's still in as new condition, no scratches on any of the discs, has all of the inserts still, blah, blah, blah..... not a copy I bought it not stolen only driven on Sundays...

I've played the demo. After playing this every year since THPS, sad to say, it's over. Skate has really stepped up and kicked Tony's ass. Way more realistic, and controls that make you feel like you are involved. Poor Tony Hawk. He will now have to lay down on his bed made of money and cry...
