Well this year (for me) it's a lot of factors. Largest is Xbox Live being added this year. But when you add to that all of the huge changes to my favorite football team (Redskins), I wanted to have all of my team.
Otherwise I agree with you though. This is the first time I've bought Madden for...
I e-mailed eb about this (my store said the same thing) and they told me that if you don't trade in 5 games with it, it's up to that particular EB on what they'll accept the ps2 for.
haha, nice... well I feel less like "should I try and hide it?" and more like "would that really be worth calling it broken?" I'd feel bad trying to pass it off as perfect. I guess if I can get $50 for it and pay another $100 for a brand new xbox and 2 games and a controller s (mine was pretty...
my xbox has had some trouble with dirty disc errors. it doesn't happen often, but it happens occasionally with EA Sports games. Should I tell them it's broken, or is that no big deal?
hey now that I think about it, would I be able to exchange an online purchase in-store? Or could I exchange one of them online? (Though I'd much rather in-store)
Ok, I got 3 games yesterday online:
Paper Mario
Donkey Konga
Nascar 2005
and today I went in and got
Zelda: WW
Metroid Prime
Tenchu for ps2
I was very close to getting Fable and Ninja Gaiden, but I couldn't pick another $50 game. Plus I'm kind of regretting Nascar 2005. I'm not a huge racing...
:grouphug:
ok, we've huddled (..... not hugged... nope, not hugged at all)... we have a question. how would the GGC be a better deal? $5 off right? or is there something I'm missing there. Also odd because my best buy has a better selection than my TRU. FI, my BB had Katamari Damacy and Guilty...
can't say for sure, but they shouldn't be. I was there yesterday and Zelda: WW was $20, and online it says it's $50 (!!) so unless they RAISED the price in store, it's different. Won't know for sure until tomorrow morning though.
they have been pretty glowing. It's just that the things that other people seem to like are kind of turning me off of the game. At least to the point that I'd rather wait to get it after hearing what a friend or two has to say
X-Men Legends is GREAT. of course, I want DDRE too, but I would pick X-Men Legends.
I can't even decide on a second and third game anymore. I was going to get Fable, GTA:SA, and Nascar 2005. Now the newest reviews have really turned me off of GTA:SA and Nascar 2005, so I'm desperately checking...
My Wal-Marts suck for games. I could try a few more (there are so many in driving distance here) but I tried my 2 semi-local Wal-Marts today and neither had it. Only one had a Gamecube memory card though, so you can probably see how bad they are in the games department.
Anyway, I haven't played...
ok, X-Men Legends was onsale for Gamecube as well today. I got myself a copy, and there were a few left.
In a related note, I got the last copy of Tales of Symphonia, and there were at least 5, probably more last night when I picked up Madden.
anyone check out X-Men Legends for GC at Target yet? Online it's still at $50 for GC, but down to $35 for ps2 and Xbox. I'll be going there later, but I'd rather know I'll be getting it for GC than Xbox.
And if no one knows, I'll let everyone else know tonight (after the football game  )
I have the same question... I was assuming I'd have to get three at a time or go to seperate TRU locations (I know of 3 within a half hour of me, plenty more if I decide to venture about an hour)
