Thanks! I'm fully prepared to be disappointed. 

This makes me sad. My Walmart still has PS2 memory cards on "sale" for like $22. They don't clearance video game stuff ever. They had that Final Fantasy HDD PS2 bundle-ma-jig for the longest time too. I think it finally sold sometime in the past few months because I haven't seen it recently. 

AFAIK it is updated when a purchase is made. My GameStop held a Pit amiibo for me awhile back and I was told to come in FIRST thing in the morning to get it. I overslept and got many calls from the manager saying to please come in to buy it so it would no longer in their system and showing as...

So, I'm located in Summerville, S.C. and not sure how many other Amiibo hunters are in my area, but I called the Target nearest to me, they are not getting anymore Amiibo in for roughly two weeks. Brace yourselves for the "all wave 1 and 2 are discontinued" rumors. 

I know that feeling. I've moved onto online shopping for them. Saves the trouble of complete disappointment.

Also, buying from Amazon.de is an option. It may not be the NA version, but it's still better than pulling $50+ out of pocket for it.

Any of the Amiibo with colored stands. Link I guess is my least favorite. Looks like he's taking a leak. Honestly for last Amiibo I'd buy, probably WFT. It's WFT... I mean, even my kid brother was questioning why they made her a character in Sm4sh.

Is Fox really becoming /that/ rare? All local shops for me still have PLENTY of him in stock. I haven't really felt the need to jump on him yet, but I suppose if it's gonna happen I might as well go ahead as get him while I can. Don't want to mess up like I did with Villager. Thankfully, I wasn't involved in any of the cancellations, but just from reading the struggle, TRU is not getting any of my money. I even went out of my way to preorder Lucario from Amazon.de.

Same thing at mine. They said they were on the way to the store and should be available in the next few days.

Late post from me today. Went to Best Buy, Target, and Walmart this morning. Absolutely NO wave 3 Amiibo. Best Buy said the order never came. Target has them in the system, but not physically in the store(on way to store). Walmart had no answer - The lady I was speaking to was bitching about me...
