There's a huge difference between converting a game to run in higher resolution (the Ubisoft packs, the Sony packs) and actually remaking the game. From what I saw, both this and Halo took a lot more effort than something like the HD packs that are cranked out by other studios. This is closer to...
Interesting process. The website showed them in stock at a store on the way to SF (here for the Birdemic 2 premiere). But it wouldn't let me check out (said sold out). Decided to call on the way, they said they didn't carry it. Stopped anyway and it was sitting on the shelf plain as day. Happy...
The Best Buy one doesn't have the Disc Pack ($5), Gamestop does, can't tell whether TRU does or not. TRU is of course pricing the figures up ($13.99) so that will suck.
What? Have you played Disney Universe? There is literally no similarity between the two aside from Disney Characters. That's a standard platformer that happens to have costumes. This is a "toybox"-style game with all different kinds of play.
And this will absolutely NOT bomb, people will lap it...
Amazon is offering a free Character of your choice ($12.99) AND Disc Pack ($4.99) with a pre-order of the Disney Infinity Starter Kit. It looks like you can select your figure when you pre-order. For existing pre-orders, I was sent an email with the promo codes this morning, when I applied them...

I think it was only $8 for me. Rather than using the original packaging, I purchased two foam boards from Michael's (craft store). They're stronger and lighter than cardboard and I think they were $1 each. Had no issues whatsoever.
Yeah, no. Even the most boring of the lithos regularly go for more than double the price (after they sell out). The better ones (Citadel, Normandy, Illusive Man) regularly go for 5x the price or more. I see this one pulling in the $250 range later.
The unboxing video up on YouTube is the PS3 version, so it must exist in some form. I preordered it, but I was irritated that they charged me up front (this was last year, before a release date was announced) so I cancelled it. Kind of a mistake, looking back.
Do you not understand what a "Limited Edition" is, and how it varies from a "Standard Edition"? It's kind of like the Mass Effect lithographs - there are only 300-500 of each, hence their value. The entire purpose of a "Limited Edition" is to be collectible (limited), not to put a copy in the...
