Awesome lot! Does anyone know if the Halo Flaming Helmet codes are still in demand? I have an opportunity to buy 6 sealed Halo Reach Legendary sets . . . but they're not cheap.

Quitting is tough . . . there's always the possibility that the next sale will have the big score. "Just one more . . . OK, one more after that . . . what about that sign? . . ." But if you get something decent when you're about to quit it only pushes you to keep going.

I agree but the buyer here was a total ass hat and I would've made him pay more (at least). Good catch . . . I was thinking the same thing cuz I've gotten burned on this before. Its best if you have other stuff that you're looking for (rather than just games). If you come back without games...

I hate you so much :-) I was going to post some "finds" but after your post . . . why bother?

I'm guessing these have rebounded in price . . . if they were going for less in the past, many of us still have that in mind. I do that with other things . . . like Luigi's Mansion (GC). I was happy to get $20 for it in 2011 and then amazed to get $45 this past holiday. I just steer clear...

April is cruel . . . it won't be until May (by me) until sales really get rolling. Getting closer but the wait is killing me.

Only about 4 months to go for regular sales to begin.

    God of War Saga

No kidding? I picked this up for $15 (black Friday Amazon) but had no idea about the download. I already sold off my copy of God of War Origins (psp games) and God of War Collection (1 and 2) for $15 and $9 each. Now, considering the downloading of 1 and 2 . . . I'll probably just flip the...

If they are cheap enough, I'd buy a whole lot of old PC games. There are often some surprises in value. Just recently I saw an article about Cliff Bleszinski and his first game (Jazz Jackrabbit) is worth some money but I wouldn't have known it a week ago. I'd play it as a cherry pick and once...

This was on 9/26 (Friday). I walked up the driveway and there was nothing of interest at this Grandma and Grandpa sale. I did see a little shelf with some videotapes in the garage and almost missed a little stack marked "DVDs .50 each." I immediately thought "cool, Mario Kart" . . . and for...

Good suggestion . . . I didn't even think about it at the time . . . DOH! Crows in Black is also making some good points. When I see overpriced videogame stuff at a sale I don't immediately give up. A few weeks ago I spotted a PSP with games . . . but it was marked $50 or $60. It was...

The seller probably hasn't purchased the label . . . but even if they have there is 24 hrs. to cancel it. I'd just send a message and explain the situation. You'd like to cancel if possible.

They might've brought it out later. Who knows what you missed . . . After my score . . . I found games at 3 of the rest of the sales . . . I was hitting about 50% These were marked $5 each Paid $10 for all. No manuals . . . $1 for the pair. This sale advertised DS and games and I...

I'm gonna post this right away because I have been negligent lately. Prior to August, I posted 90% of my gaming finds but in the last few weeks I posted almost 0. So, Saturday starts with 39 degrees . . . damn the season is almost done. Only about 8 new sales on CL and in the paper. My first...

The tough part about buying video games is that there may be multiple people in your area hunting for them. And they might range from resellers, to people like yourself, to hoarders, and moms or grandmas who'll buy anything because they've been told to be on the lookout. I find it to be really...
