I still have my pre-order in for $65 from Deep Discount back from their summer sale. They impressed me with my last transaction from them. I received The Killing/Killer's Kiss on Blu-ray from them yesterday and the disc doesn't even come out until next Tuesday!

My Walmart had this, Star Trek (2009), and GI Joe on clearance for $10 a few weeks ago so maybe it's not too far fetched.

Only new release titles (as in just out of theaters) or those with digital copies usually have rewards codes.

I'd consider buying King Kong again if it included an second Blu-ray disc that had the 13+ hours of extras from the various DVD releases.

It appears this is now officially out of stock on WBShop. I just got a call from customer service telling me they would have to cancel my order from early September. :(

Just a head's up, I was in Sam's Club and they had the Ponyo Blu for $16.88. The DVD was $13.88.

Don't know. The individual releases for S1 & S2 on Blu-ray each have the same $20 mail in rebate for owners of the DVDs (though the fine print mentions you can only redeem one of these coupons). I don't think S3 ever came with a rebate coupon. The rebate coupon for S4 came in the DVD package...

I didn't know the extras were in HD. Thanks for mentioning it. I was a little on the fence before. Also, for those with the Director's Cut on SD or HD-DVD, the BD should include a $10 rebate form.
