I can understand your opinion. I am kinda underwhelmed with HD-DVD when the scene is indoors or focused on a face, but I am completely blown away with scenery shots or with shots that have a lot of small objects/details. Like a crowded theater or the valley from the last samurai.

I recieved about $60 worth of gift certificates when my roomie and I bought a HDTV, and now I too notice that I get a lot of gift certificates (I buy too many new games there, thats why I joined up here).
