It was briefly $39.99 at Best Buy a couple of weeks ago as part of a Deal of the Day, though that was quickly corrected to $49.99. I could definitely picture at least the $49.99 price resurfacing this month.

Some of this is a reach. They're using a law from 1988 about video stores not being able to share rental information and applying it to video games, and retailers like GameStop, GameFly, Limited Run Games, and iam8bit are considered "video tape service providers" because they sell video games...

They're basically going against everyone in the industry, including Microsoft, Ubisoft, Nintendo, and GameFly, each with at-a-glance identical press releases. This has nothing to do with Limited Run specifically and may have nothing to do with Limited Run whatsoever.
