I didn't go to launch event (or even pick up the game) but I did see someone dressed up as Master Chief taking the streetcar in downtown Toronto. It was a bit surreal seeing him standing there holding on to a pole and chatting up some girl.

I seem to recall that GameCentre (in a small mall off Yonge, just south of Bloor) had a selection of older stuff as well.

Well, this gen it will be the PS3 with the better graphics down the stretch. But so far the 360 has much better online play. That second may eventually change but the PS3 definitely will always have more horsepower. That being said, right now there aren't many reasons to buy a PS3...

Not sure how long the deal is going to last but it was listed on their website yesterday. I just went in to take advantage of this deal and managed to get $520 off a new PS3 (at Toronto - Dufferin Mall EB Games, 10am Tuesday). I think the clerk punched it in wrong, but who am I to complain...
