CAG 3.0 Upgrade - News, Updates And Progress - Dark Theme, Feedback are Live - EVERYTHING is Coming Back Soon!

That's a "Notification Frequency" setting, meaning that it controls WHEN you get notifications, not whether you do or not. What you want to do is uncheck all of the boxes under "Email" that apply.

    CAG 2.0 vs 3.0

Maybe so, but that doesn't change anything I've said.

I know, but that exact functionality can't be done (at the moment). You can get it quite close by playing with those settings though.

    CAG 2.0 vs 3.0

Kid, I'm a web designer. It's a hilariously obvious fact. Going by your own definitions: Facebook, Twitter, Gamespot, IGN, Youtube, Google's entire content area...CAG (according to you). I could go on for millions of lines. Oh, but I bet you'd rather I link forums as opposed to top 10 sites...

    CAG 2.0 vs 3.0

I've offered nothing but fact-based discussion on an alternative viewpoint that happens to differ from yours. Meanwhile, you've gone off and completely misquoted what I've said in several places ("weasel word it" apparently means taking direct quotes), completely misunderstood the definition of...

How to edit a wiki post in new 3.0?

There's no way to change ownership, but I'm assuming wiki posts will be back *eventually*.

    CAG 2.0 vs 3.0

I said the majority of sites utilize it, which is a pretty solid fact. Whether or not you feel it suits forums doesn't change that. It's not like fixed-width forums are uncommon either; the very last site I was on, Gamespot, has fixed width boards. The year someone reacted has nothing to do...

    Not receiving Email notifications

That's because notifications and the notification settings I linked were added with the upgrade. What you're receiving is supposed to happen based on the settings you have selected. In your case you need to change "Immediate" to either "Daily/Weekly Digest".

    Not receiving Email notifications

You both need to check your notification settings and change them to what you'd like. It's not a software issue, it's an account settings issue.

You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community.

The thread has an image that does not have a .png, .jpeg, .jpg, .gif ending.

    CAG 2.0 vs 3.0

This is exactly what I was talking about earlier. You CAN do that. On the page that shows "3-4 posts," hit the Find Content button on the top right. You can then sort between topics, posts, blogs, images, etc. etc that you've either created or posted in. That doesn't show content you follow...

CAG 3.0 Upgrade - News, Updates And Progress - Dark Theme, Feedback are Live - EVERYTHING is Coming Back Soon!

    1. Go to your notification settings. 2. In the drop-down that says "Immediate," select daily/weekly digest. 3. Scroll down and click save changes. You can also browse the other options if you'd like to receive more email notifications as opposed to inline (the red blips that appear here).

New CAG doesn't remember "mobile/full site" browser settings.

Two ways that are easy. 1. Your CAG account. If you stay logged in to your CAG account while on your iPhone, it will remember your skin selection. Note that it will remain if you have a desktop as well. Just go to "Change Theme" below and select the mobile skin. 2. Your iPhone Browser User...

    CAG 2.0 vs 3.0

Laughed out loud. As someone who's worked for thousands of hours with both VB and IPS (this), it's incredible how much better this software is. I've browsed every page of the update thread and all of the feedback topics people have posted, and literally 95%+ of all complaints about "missing"...
