Certain Gamestops would let you get th 30% off the DC console, so that made it exactly $14. And while I do want to get rid of my DC, I want to do so locally. Not have to pay shipping and such.

I spent little more than $40 for a Dreamcast, 2 controllers, a VMU, and six games. Yet...I still feel like it was wasted money. I think the Dreamcast was a great system in its prime (namely the years before the PS2 came out and the whole 'starting online gaming' thing...heh) but has not aged...

Isn't Ikaruga 19.99 at Gamestop new? I know it is. The only reason I haven't bought it yet is because I'm waiting for Fry's to mark it down.

Rain checks are most certainly not dead. I hit two Targets looking for a $26 Smash Bros. Melee, non-PC version and when they had none, they offered a rain check. I've yet to read it though so maybe someone patched the loophole.
