I never said you don't like the genre. Hell, I have little to no experience in the adventure genre. The only other game I've played in this genre is Telltale's Strongbad game. While Strongbad was good, TWD is in a different league altogether. And it's not because of the gameplay. I imagine...
QTEs are actually fairly rare. The bulk of TWD's gameplay comes in character interactions (dialog/choices) and light puzzle solving. If you don't care about story and characters and only want depth in gameplay, then TWD is obviously not for you.
For people that want more to their games beyond...
If all you want is gameplay, then The Walking Dead is admittedly not for you. But it is one of the most powerful and emotionally moving games I have ever played. It gave me experiences I never imagined I'd get out of a game. The last moments of Episode 5 are going to stick with me for a while...
Well that turned out better than expected. GMG already solved the issue, and not only did they give me a full refund, they gave me $5 credit so I can re-buy the ($3) game for free. :)
You win this time, GMG. ;)
Nothing in my games list, keys, or email. I shot their support a message like Rybrad suggested. I took a quick look on GMG's forums and found that this has happened to quite a few people in the last couple weeks.
I guess if you're planning to pick this deal up (or anything from GMG), be aware...
This is my first purchase from GMG... I checked out with PayPal. As soon as I confirmed the transaction on PayPal, it took me to an error page on GMG. I checked PayPal and GMG charged me, but no game has showed up on my GMG account. It's been 15 minutes now.
Is this normal with GMG...
Anyone care to give some thoughts on Terraria? In particular, what sets it apart from Minecraft? Outside of the obvious perspective shift. I've played (and enjoyed) Minecraft quite a bit, but for some reason Terraria looks kind of... boring. I can't quite put my finger on why, though. I'd...
Well this was easily the worst Steam sale I've taken part it. My haul was already tiny, but combine the Terraria price hike yesterday with the fact that none of the games I was on the fence on (and passed up) are on the recap today... this sale is ending with about the sadest whimper I could...
You've got to be kidding me. I was game for Terraria at $2.50, but couldn't buy it until now. I pull it up... and the price is $5. No sale. Thanks for the annoyance, Steam.
I'd prefer to spend $27 on a pack of 3 Assassin's Creed games than spend $5 on Amnesia. It's called valuing the games you want, and it's something every CAG should do. If Amnesia was $2.50, I would have considered it.
Yeah, but I barely own a fraction of the games that have been on the daily deals, and I still haven't been tempted by much. I've only bit on 3 of the daily deals so far. With tomorrow probably being the last day for new daily deals (with July 10th likely being an encore day), it looks like I...
Has this sale been pretty bad for anyone else? I've been skipping several of the previous daily deals in hopes that there will be better deals later on, but it seems like they're getting worse each day.
When I compare my haul from this sale with my hauls from previous sales, it really makes...
Thanks for the impressions on SW:TFU2, guys. I'll probably give it a shot. $9.99 is the cheapest I've seen it so far and I don't really expect to find it cheaper any time soon.
I'm considering Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II for $9.99. It seems like I've heard pretty much universal hate for it, but I really enjoyed the demo on my 360. Anyone have any input?
