Gamestop is out of the running; To get the extra 10% trade-in credit I would need to buy the $15 membership to the powerup program (my membership has lapsed, since I almost never go there), and their selection of PC games is pretty junk - even online (and my PC will once again be my only gaming...
Gamestop's website lists that there's a 30% bonus for trade-in consoles until the 13th if you opt for store credit, and the guy on the phone said that the powerup cards do apply to used consoles.
Taking the cash option, the math works out to just under $100. For a system that I literally...
Just checked with the local Gamestop and found their listed value for my console to be $70 (+10% with a rewards card, of course). Including the games and other hardware (512MB memory card, 60GB hard drive) the total comes to $124 of in-store credit ($136 with rewards card). Not sure how much...
I've come to the decision to sell my Xbox 360, but am not sure where or how to do so. I know I can simply walk it down to the local gamestop and probably get trade-in credit, but I'd prefer cash.
Any recommendations on how to sell this thing? How much would it even be worth?

I've decided to finally jump on the DS bandwagon, and am wondering which titles I should get to fill out a good collection. Favorite genres of mine include western-style RPGs (JRPG stories usually make my head hurt) and strategy games, but other types are more than welcome as suggestions.

Well, my travails have ended.
Final Tally:
Xbox 360 Pro Holiday Bundle from Dell = $260
Value of Gamecube turn-ins = $95
Adjusted cost of 3 games + Charger Cord after store credit = $18!
Total cost out-of-pocket = $288!
The math:
DELL
360 + 60gig HD = $240
Tax = $20
Shipping = Free
Total = $260
GAMESTOP
360 = $200
60gig HD = $80
Tax = $23
Total = $303
I would be a fool to pass up Saving $40.
