i had ordered the wii cables from monoprice a while back because they were cheap.. when i got them the whole screen was slightly red.. i checked that the cables were in tight and snug and sure enough they were.. i called monoprice and they sent me a new pair of cables.. similar problem, only...
meijer does price match. i've done it several times before with a promotional 15/20% off w/ use of meijer cc day.
and yeah, they were pretty picked over for 360 stuff. still good for PS3 stuff.
not really a deal but costco in columbus (polaris) had wii bundles (extra controller + mario party 8) for $329.. as of 6:30 pm they still had a lot left.
to possibly save someone a trip... @ 6:00 AM columbus ohio sawmill location had:
3 - 360 premiums (none were the newer with HDMI port)
1 - 360 elite
no PS3s that i could see
no Wiis that i could see
i have to disagree on this one. the % off is way better unless you like to make payments on your CC's (which i don't). take the discount and pay it off when you get the bill. no debt, no possibility of incurring a late fee, etc. plus unless you're a better than average investor, theres no...
they have the 15% or 20% off about every month or so.. the 20 occurs about 2 or 3x a year and the 15% happens the rest of the time...
the good thing about the 15 or 20% off days is that coupons and price matching can be stacked on top of that. (at least, i've never had a problem with it.)
a couple of months ago they had a 20% off coupon and then 15% with meijer CC + additional 10% for new credit card applications.. conceivably you could have gotten a 60 GB PS3 for $368 with all three of these deals combined.
theres no way that they bluffed on the price (because i'm sure that some people heard the price and went out and bought a 360 already)
..and anyone thinking $600 for a video game machine is on crack.. i thought the $400 for the 360 was bad..
