Thanks for posting this, I was trying to convert some points expiring this month and couldn't figure out why there was no option for that. I had never converted points before and thought it could be done from the main rewards page.

They get a certain amount they can allocate to markdown items. I didn't know they lowered the amount they could use but I guess that explains why almost every Walmart I go to stopped putting close dated foods like cold prepared foods and bakery items at a 50% - 75% off discount a day or two...

I have noticed the same thing. They used to be much better about partial refunds and refunds for not as described items (I never expected or asked for a full refund and to keep the item but they sometimes offered it). Now it seems like they want everything returned rather than partial refunds...

Probably YMMV but after Easter clearance was 50% off regular merchandise and 30% on food/candy on Wednesday and it went to 90% regular merchandise and 70% off food/candy today. Stores might have ordered less this year as most stores seem picked over the day after Easter with almost nothing...
