I used the following as the text of my e-mail, and they adjusted my price: "A friend of mine saw the item in this order, Rock Band, in his Gold Box on Tuesday for 5% off ($161.49). I would like Amazon to correspondingly adjust my price to $161.49 as per the terms of its Preorder Price...

Damn... missed out on the low price preorder, but I know that Amazon has a price guarantee where if you order an item at a certain price, you'll never pay more. So if this was sold by Amazon (vice one of their dealers) you can still get the $40 price (lucky bastards).

Wow--I didn't know Evil Prophecy even got released! I remember my dad got me into a beta test for it and it was pretty bad then, I hadn't heard anything about it after that so I assumed Konami jettisoned the PoS.
