I'm a Wii/DSi owner and I just want to play Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, Super Street Fighter IV, God of War III, and Dirt 3 on a unit that also plays Blu-Ray discs.
We're getting closer, SONY... closer.
The gouges got right down to the paper insert. They must have been kept in a rack like the behind-glass games at Walmart or Zellers and when they were pulled out, it snagged them. It's a gamble ordering Wii games online if you have any sort of "collector" tendencies. :)
Received my order today. Both games had the fronts of their boxes either gouged or scratched. Sucks since I like my cases to be nice looking, not like they got into a slap fight with a roll of barbed wire.
I've been gearing up for it, too. I'd like to score a sweet deal on:
Pro Evolution Soccer 11 (Wii)
NBA Jam (Wii)
A new mattress
Sony Blu-Ray player
That's if I don't end up buying that junk before Boxing Day. ;)
I really enjoy this game. I bought it on release day. That wasn't very long ago but tonight I checked the WiFi option and lo and behold the thing is discontinued? When did this happen? I can't even remember what the WiFi features looked like... Did it really receive this little consumer support?
For a small fee, I can help you with this situation. I will, however, require payment up front. ;)
Seriously though, sorry to hear about this. There's really no satisfying recourse when getting hosed online unless PayPal or something similar is involved.
Thanks a lot, adayinthelife. I suppose the games I've tried to buy recently have been the last of the stock in the stores I've been to and so they are the resealed dregs. Did you find that many people decided not to buy the game when they saw that they were about to receive a gutted or resealed...
I don't want to start a new thread with a silly rant, so I'll just drop my comment in here. I just need to get this off my chest. I am at the end of my patience with GameStop. Why does almost every game that isn't purchased on day one have to be gutted and resealed? Even the ones behind the...
This is a great bargain. EB Games/Gamestop has "The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces" on for $17.99 now.
If you're into shooting things down, flying around, and watching anime cutscenes, you'll have lots of fun with this. Just remember to bring your Classic Controller Pro (since the ZR button has...
I've been meaning to start a thread like this for a while but have refrained. Well, I just don't care anymore. I'm coming clean.
My favourite game that no one else liked is:
GTI Club Supermini Festa! for Wii :applause:
I know for a fact that, as gamers, each and every one of you have this...
That's so fun! You HAVE to go.
Although there have been no invitations via Club Nintendo that I know of, there's something going on in Toronto (which is just down the road from me, so to speak) on the 23rd. I may be hauling the fam to that. ;)
