This isn't about a company that sets out to make a solid product at a fair, honest profit. It's about Sony's predatory practices of stiffing gamers by nickel-diming 'em with worthless (the PSP "value" memory stick, etc.) and/or overpriced (the PS2 hard drive) add-ons -- and effectively limiting...

This proprietary memory stick issue is but more proof of Sony's bent at milking its customer base for extra money. It could have simply used a Compact Flash or other well-adopted memory card system, readily available at dirt-cheap prices, but that would have chipped away at its profit machine...
