The shrinkwrap on many of the Royal Editions is loose and does not look factory. I remember reading this somwhere, and the one I got from GameStop last year was like that. The guy at the store even commented on how the shrinkwrap didn't look right.

Do you think they will get any more Velvet Editions in stock for the Xbox 360? I didn't want to risk missing out on the deal or Amazon not getting more, so I ordered the Velvet Edition for PC. I already have the Royal Edition for the Xbox 360.

Wonder if the dvd is region locked? I preordered the UK Assassin's Creed Revelations CE with artbook, soundtrack cd and movie on disc. I'm concerened that the animated movie will be on a disc I can't use and should just go with the Signature Edition from GS.

Same here. I also preordered a UK version from GAME. I like that the bonus video and soundtrack are on discs and the dlc guide isn't referred to as a "mini" guide. Not sure that these differences are worth the extra money though. I'll probably just keep my Newegg order and cancel from amazon...
