Mine shipped Friday and I got it yesterday. I was super tired from work so I barely played, but I did throw it in long enough to get the first achievement a day before release date. :p

I was pretty unimpressed with this game. I was hoping for something more similar to Smash Bros, but felt like it missed the mark by a long ways. That being said, if you have a Vita as well, you get a copy for that so it's 2 games for 19.99.

I'll second that. I played the shit out of the original and they nailed this as a reboot. Surprisingly I preferred it console over PC controls. I didn't think I would so I bought it on Steam, but thankfully it has controller support.

Definitely worth it in my opinion. Great game with some replay ability.

I personally preferred Demon's Souls over Dark Souls. I'm can't articulate why, but Dark Souls didn't really click with me and Demon's Souls really did.

Dead Space 3 is also 39.99 at EB I believe.

I'm to old for that franchise. I loved the shit out of EO1, then played EO2. I don't have that kind of time anymore.

Part of the daily holiday sales through XBLA and I didn't see an old thread for those sales. Episode 1 is free and 2-5 are 200 points. It's a steal for anyone that didn't pick it up through a steam sale and doesn't want to wait for the disc version to drop.

I wouldn't necessarily agree about the "best played on PC" (although cheaper is better!). I thought the same thing since I grew up playing the original. It seemed sacrilegious to play it on anything but, but I gameaccessed the console version when it released just to see if this remake was...

Best Buy used to have a draw for a $500 gift card at each individual store for everyone lined up before they opened. Since it was only for people that lined up, the odds of winning were pretty good. That's the only reason I used to do it. Not sure if they did it this year, since the flyers...

I bought two vitas over the past year with a 20% off coupon. The first time the CSR gave me a real hassle, second time went smooth as butter. Got the system and a memory card both at 20% off. Using my optimum points I was only $115 out of pocket for each system. Good deal even if the second one...

Also, go on YouTube and search Black Friday. Maybe it's just me, but I've never seen crowds nearly as rowdy and dangerous during Boxing Day sales here. I'll take slightly lower deals over dangerous crowd rampages any day.
