    Convinced PS2's are made to break.

    I totally agree that the PS2's are not built to last. Maybe Sony believed in Quantity not Quality for the PS2. Because I own the original Playstation since '97, never had a problem. I've had my PS2 shipped to Bristol once for the infamous disk read error, Then once I brought it to a pawn repair...
