Those Stealth Mesh drum heads look really nice, but unfortunately it's not the pads that are broken, it's something in the kick pedal's circuit (I used a multimeter to verify that the kick itself is working). How much does a "real" electronic drum set cost, and what's the mod? P.S. Of course...

No luck getting a Rock Band SE kit at Saskatoon - 8th Street location - they had sold out. They did have the Beatles value band kit for $112 or something, which seemed reasonable if unexceptional. They also had GH5 for $45 if that's your thing. Oh, and the London Drugs next door had two RB2...

I actually didn't have much luck with that kit - it was missing the nuts to hold the cymbal pads on, and the guitar's whammy bar squeaked like crazy. Fortunately, there was no hassle on the return.
