The notice about it being shipped was only because the shipping label was created. Tracking number shows the seller has not delivered it to the USPS facility yet.

Estimated delivery for J&D shows today, but based on the tracking there is no way that I'm getting it today. It hasn't even been picked up by Fedex yet.

From what I understand, they had it for $5 during last year's summer sale AND the holiday sale. Yes... I somehow missed both of those.

I was hoping that since Morrowind has actually been a part of the sale (it says "steam summer sale 2011" under it) that it meant that it would eventually be a daily deal. Are there any other games that are discounted, but haven't been a daily deal yet?

Actually, if you look at the comparisons you can clearly see that they aren't identical. The differences are minor, but they certainly aren't identical.
